Anju has over 9 years of experience before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and Tribunals across Delhi, focusing on Civil, Commercial, Regulatory and Corporate Disputes. Being an Advocate on Record, she has regularly handled wide range of matters, including civil, criminal, commercial matters before Supreme Court. Prior to AQUILAW, Anju has worked with Khaitan & Co. where she primarily handled Regulatory (Electricity) matters for the firm and represented clients like Haldia Energy Limited, CESC Limited, GMR Vemagiri Power Generation Limited, Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Torrent Power Limited, Powerica Limited, and so on. Her work entailed from advising on regulatory issues to litigation before the Supreme Court of India, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, and various State Electricity Regulatory Commissions across India. Prior to Khaitan & Co., Anju has also worked with Sagus Legal, wherein she represented conglomerate Avantha Group and managed their disputes before High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal and Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal. She also had the opportunity of working for Clients like the Tata Power Company Limited, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited, and many others. Anju has also been a junior in the Chambers of Mr. Sunil Fernandes, Sr. Advocate, wherein she assisted him in his matters before the Supreme Court, NCLAT, NCLT and NCDRC. She is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Supreme Court Advocate on Record Association and enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi.
