Sasmita has over 25 years of experience in corporate and business banking, corporate finance, strategic lending, credit and risk appraisal, and relationship management. She has extensive expertise in structuring tailored financing solutions, project finance, debt syndication, capital structuring, financial modelling and managing complex corporate portfolios across diverse sectors. Prior to joining AQUILAW, Sasmita held senior leadership positions at ICICI Bank for nearly two decades and was previously associated with the State Bank of India, Global AgriSystems and Mahindra Shubh Labh Services. She holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture, a postgraduate qualification in Agri-Business Management, and JAIIB and CAIIB certifications, and is presently pursuing the PGP MAX programme for senior executives at the Indian School of Business.
