Sucharita has over 24 years of experience in Corporate – Commercial, Infrastructure, Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange Laws, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Policy, Trust and Inheritance Laws. She advises a wide range of Indian and multinational clients in various sectors. Prior to AQUILAW, Sucharita was engaged as an Associate Partner with Khaitan & Co. Sucharita is the Chairperson - Sub Committee on Ease of Doing Business, CII Eastern Region Council. Sucharita was the past Chairperson of CII, West Bengal State Council for 2023-24. She is an Independent Director in the Boards of Himadri Credit & Finance Limited, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited and Lalbaba Engineering. She has completed her LL.B. from University of Calcutta and is enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal since 2001. She is also a member of the International Bar Association – India Working Group.
